Our client is a fast-growing, VC-backed retail audit and execution platform that leverages shoppers and CVAI to diagnose planogram compliance and empower merchandising, category management, and other workflows. The founding team brings proven expertise, previously built and sold a successful 8-figure direct-to-consumer brand in the apparel space. Now they’re applying that operational experience to solve critical pain points for CPG brands: understanding real-time in store execution and compliance. We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to build and scale the web platform and mobile applications that power this rapidly growing business. The mission of this role is to own and evolve the user-facing experience across our clients products with a strong emphasis on React (web) and collaboration on our React Native iOS and Android app.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

  • Build and own React-based web features and React Native from design through implementation

  • Partner closely with product and design to refine requirements, UX flows, and edge cases across mobile and web applications

  • Work across team to build products that help accomplish KPI targets by implementing thoughtful and on-time UI/UX design + functionality

  • Create data-rich dashboards that translate complex data into clear UI

  • Build shared UI components and business logic across web and mobile

  • Improve reliability and UX in real-world conditions (connectivity, video, permissions)

  • Support junior developers as they learn and grow themselves; continue fostering our collaborative environment

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • 8+ years of Front-End experience

  • 3 years+ in early startup environments

  • Deep experience with React (hooks, state management, performance optimization)

  • Familiarity with or hands-on experience using React Native for iOS and Android

  • Familiarity with Ruby on Rails (Bonus)

  • Experience with mobile-specific concerns such as offline states, device constraints, or media capture (Bonus)

ARE THERE ANY OTHER REQUIREMENTS?

  • Mobile application development (must)

  • Experience with video/media-heavy applications

  • Background in retail, e-commerce, or CPG technology

  • Experience working in early-stage, high-growth startups

  • Familiarity with AI/ML product integration

  • Smart & reliable, above all else

  • Comfort with both React (web) and React Native for our iOS and Android apps

  • Works well with designers, listens and receives feedback welll, enjoys a highly iterative process

  • Thoughtful about building components to support a scalable frontend system

  • Collaborative across multiple teams including design, product, other engineers, analytics, and marketing
