ABOUT THE EMPLOYER

Our client is a Revenue Performance Agency that empowers B2B companies to scale smarter by aligning strategy with execution, leveraging AI, data, and expertise. Unlike traditional consulting firms, they proactively implement strategies, partnering with revenue teams to achieve measurable outcomes. With a focus on Revenue Operations, Go-to-Market Strategy, Revenue Enablement, and AI-driven solutions, they eliminate silos and modernizes sales processes. Trusted by startups and enterprises alike, the company uses Generative AI and AI Automation to optimize productivity, streamline revenue operations, and drive sustainable growth.

We are is looking for a consultant who can own practical revenue systems and reporting work across client engagements. This person must be able to administer and improve Salesforce and personally configure leader-facing reporting in Sigma. They should be comfortable working with sales, customer, RevOps, BI, and finance stakeholders to define metrics, solve reporting problems, and deliver usable solutions.

One immediate engagement involves an existing Sigma environment. The client already has data and reports, but revenue leaders need clearer, more trustworthy views for their operating cadence. The consultant will help turn existing datasets and workbooks into usable leader views, validate critical measures with the client’s data owners, and teach the internal team how to maintain the result. Other engagements may center on Salesforce administration, CRM optimization, data quality, forecasting, or cross-system reporting.

This is a working consultant role: you will gather requirements and recommend an approach, then make configurations, test them, resolve issues with the right owners, and hand off the solution. You do not need to be the data warehouse engineer for every engagement, but you must know how to work effectively with BI and data teams when an upstream issue affects reporting.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

Leader reporting and Sigma delivery

  • Facilitate focused intake with revenue leaders to understand the decisions they make, metrics they need, reporting they use today, and points of confusion or mistrust.

  • Inventory existing Sigma workbooks, views, datasets, and shared components; recommend what to reuse, modify, build, or retire.

  • Personally configure Sigma workbooks, tables, visualizations, filters, permissions, and leader-facing views as appropriate to the client’s environment.

  • Design views that are straightforward to navigate and show the right level of detail for each leader, including appropriate drill-down and forward-looking indicators.

  • Define and document metric logic with business and data owners; reconcile critical numbers to agreed sources and surface unresolved data limitations explicitly.

  • Review working views with leaders, make changes based on use in their operating cadence, and confirm acceptance.

  • Train internal RevOps or BI owners on configuration, definitions, dependencies, and the process for handling future requests.

Salesforce and revenue systems administration

  • Administer and improve client Salesforce environments, including users, access, objects, fields, page layouts, Lightning experience, Flow automation, validation rules, reports, and dashboards.

  • Translate sales and post-sales workflows into sound CRM configuration, with attention to adoption, data integrity, and maintainability.

  • Audit existing configurations and data practices; diagnose root causes before proposing changes.

  • Support forecasting, pipeline, lifecycle, account, and activity reporting by aligning CRM processes and field definitions with the measures leaders use.

  • Assess the downstream effect of Salesforce changes on integrations and reporting; partner with data, systems, and business owners to test and deploy changes safely.

  • Document configurations and decisions, train users, and provide ongoing support or optimization as required by the engagement.

Consulting and delivery ownership

  • Manage your assigned work from requirements through build, testing, stakeholder review, and handoff; communicate progress and risks early.

  • Distinguish between configuration work, definition or validation issues, upstream data gaps, and future-state requests so delivery can continue while dependencies are resolved.

  • Work collaboratively with client’s strategy leads and project teams while taking direct ownership of your technical and functional deliverables.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Demonstrated hands-on Sigma experience building or substantially modifying workbooks and reporting views used by business leaders. You should be able to explain what you configured yourself, how you handled filters and drill-down, and how you checked that the numbers were right.

  • Demonstrated hands-on Salesforce administration in a live business environment, including meaningful configuration, reporting, troubleshooting, and user support. Experience must extend beyond reviewing requirements or directing another builder.

  • Experience translating revenue leader questions into metric definitions, reporting requirements, and practical system changes.

  • Experience improving an established CRM or BI environment, including working within existing architecture and resolving conflicting definitions or unreliable data.

  • Ability to coordinate with BI/data teams on governed datasets, source systems, transformations, and refresh behavior without treating every data issue as a dashboard problem.

  • Strong stakeholder communication, documentation, prioritization, and client-facing delivery skills.

ARE THERE ANY OTHER REQUIREMENTS?

  • HubSpot administration or architecture, particularly where HubSpot and Salesforce share revenue processes or data.

  • Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Sales Cloud Consultant certification.

  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or another BI tool in addition to Sigma.

  • Familiarity with cloud warehouses, SQL, data modeling, or integration patterns.

  • Prior consulting experience across multiple client environments and revenue organization designs.

  • Experience with sales forecasting, bookings, pipeline, customer lifecycle, and post-sale operational reporting.
