ABOUT THE EMPLOYER

At Truss, we believe that great talent exists everywhere — and that growing companies shouldn’t have to choose between accessing it and doing things the right way.We specialize in connecting U.S. enterprises with exceptional professionals in the Central Caucasus region, a part of the world rich with skilled, motivated talent that too many companies overlook. Whether a client needs end-to-end recruiting and Employer of Record (EOR) services, or simply a compliant employment structure for someone they’ve already found, we make it happen — cleanly, legally, and without the usual headaches of international hiring. But this isn’t just a staffing story. We’re in the business of opening doors in both directions. For our clients, we unlock access to emerging markets and untapped talent pools that give them a real competitive edge. For the professionals we place, we open access to meaningful, well-compensated opportunities with some of the world’s most dynamic companies. That exchange matters to us.We’re a small, operationally focused team that takes compliance seriously, moves quickly, and cares about doing right by the people on both sides of every placement.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

  • Respond to client inquiries regarding labor codes in Georgia and Armenia, covering topics such as probation periods, notice periods, and statutory leave.

  • Address questions related to monthly payroll cycles, social contributions, income tax withholding, and mandatory local benefits.

  • Guide clients and new hires through the localized onboarding process, ensuring all legal documentation is accurately collected and explained.

  • Act as a liaison between clients and our internal finance teams to resolve complex cases regarding employment contracts or pay discrepancies.

  • Help build and maintain an internal library of FAQs and “how-to” guides specifically for the South Caucasus region.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • 2-4+ years in HR, labor compliance, or a related field — ideally with some exposure to the Caucasus region or similar emerging markets.

  • Comfortable communicating in English and Russian (B2 level or above) — you’ll be explaining local nuances to non-expert, English-speaking clients regularly as well as work closely with our internal Russian-speaking accounting team.

  • Ability to find answers, build processes, and document what you learn.

  • Curious about technology and open to using AI tools as part of your everyday workflow.

  • High attention to detail and strong judgment when balancing business needs with clients’ interests.

ARE THERE ANY OTHER REQUIREMENTS?

  • Familiarity with employment regulations in Georgia and/or Armenia is a strong plus, but a demonstrated ability to research and learn new legal frameworks matters just as much.

Requires 3-4 hours of overlap with CST
