We are looking for a Golang developer to join our client’s development team, with a focus on maintaining and enhancing our data crawling capabilities. This position is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of GoLang who is eager to dive into the mechanics of web crawling and data extraction.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Monitor and troubleshoot our web crawlers to identify and resolve issues preventing data collection.
- Analyze and understand website structures to accurately fix pathing issues within our crawlers.
- Update and maintain crawler configurations to ensure optimal performance and data accuracy.
- Stay updated with the latest in web technologies and crawling strategies to continuously improve our processes.
WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- At least 2-3 years of experience in Golang development.
- Solid understanding of web scraping, APIs, and data processing.
- Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and cloud services (AWS, GCP).
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
