- The Truss web platform used by client companies
- The Truss candidate portal used by talent and applicants
- Truss’s AI features that support candidate matching and evaluation
It does not cover our corporate website or internal company tools.
3. The Data We Collect
Candidate data
When you create a profile or apply for a job, we collect:
- Name, gender, date of birth, and contact details
- Country, citizenship, and work eligibility
- Resume/CV, experience, skills, and desired salary
- Uploaded videos, background check results, and screening data
- AI-based match or scoring results
- Optional profile photo
- Public candidate profile links (with or without salary shown)
Client user data
When you represent a company, we collect:
- Your name, company name, role, and business contact information
- Account credentials and usage data
We do not store payment information directly on our platform.
4. How We Use Your Data
We use personal data to:
- Connect candidates with potential employers
- Run AI-based matching and screening
- Communicate about jobs, interviews, and offers
- Provide and improve our platform and services
- Onboard employees for Truss’s Employer of Record (EOR) operations
- Comply with employment and legal requirements
- Conduct research and product improvement
- Share success stories and marketing materials (with consent or opt-out)
- Maintain platform security and prevent misuse
We never sell personal data.
5. How We Share Your Data
We share your information only as needed to provide our services:
- Client companies you apply to or interact with
- Truss entities (in Uzbekistan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and the U.S.) for EOR and compliance
- Third-party service providers (AWS, email, analytics, AI, and video tools)
- Background check partners for verification
- Legal authorities if required by law
- Public candidate links, which are shared only via direct link and are not searchable or indexed
- Marketing or integration partners only where relevant and lawful
Once a candidate becomes an employee, their public link is automatically disabled.
6. International Data Transfers
We store and process data primarily in the United States and may transfer it to:
- Our Truss entities in Uzbekistan, Georgia, and Kazakhstan, and
- Clients in other countries, including the United Kingdom and the EU.
We rely on legitimate business necessity and standard safeguards (such as contractual terms, access control, and encryption) to protect your data during international transfers.
7. How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep your information until you request deletion or it is no longer needed for our services.
- Candidate data: kept indefinitely unless you ask us to delete it
- Employee (EOR) data: kept indefinitely unless deletion is requested
- AI and video screening data: kept indefinitely unless deletion is requested
- Client data: kept until the client requests deletion
- Public profile links: automatically disabled once a candidate becomes an employee
You can request deletion anytime by emailing info@hiretruss.com.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of your data
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data (portability)
- Object to or restrict certain processing (e.g., marketing)
- File a complaint with a supervisory authority
