WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

Truss is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media and Marketing Manager to help drive our marketing efforts. This role is ideal for someone who is proficient with content creation and event planning. 

You will play a pivotal role in crafting our online presence and engaging with our audience, helping us grow our brand and foster connections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement, grow our audience, and promote Truss’s brand.
  • Create a Social Media Calendar: Plan, create, and schedule engaging posts across various platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram & Tik Tok), ensuring a consistent and cohesive brand voice.
  • Own Company Newsletter Creation: Lead the creation and distribution of our company newsletter, ensuring high-quality content that informs and engages our clients.
  • Plan and Execute Marketing Events: Collaborate with the team to plan and coordinate logistics for webinars, networking events, podcasts, etc.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key metrics to measure the success of social media and marketing efforts, making recommendations for continuous improvement.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in email marketing tools (e.g., Hubspot) and social media platforms
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience with event planning is a plus.
  • Creative, curious, proactive, and able to work independently.
