ABOUT THE EMPLOYER
We are looking for a QA Automation (Cypress) Engineer to join our client’s team, a California-based leader in cloud-based transportation management solutions. Their platform streamlines logistics by offering a unified system for managing inbound and outbound shipments across various transport modes, integrating seamlessly with ERP, WMS, and CRM systems. With connections to over 300 carriers, they help businesses optimize shipping, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
In this role, you’ll write automated tests to ensure web applications work correctly. They use Cypress to test user flows, catch bugs early, and support continuous integration.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

Develop Automated Tests:
Write and maintain test scripts using Cypress for web applications. -
Test Web Application Features:
Verify UI components, APIs, and workflows work correctly by automating user journeys. -
Integrate Tests into CI/CD Pipelines:
Ensure tests run automatically in tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. -
Bug Identification & Reporting:
Detect issues early by running tests regularly and reporting bugs to developers. -
Collaboration with Dev Teams:
Work closely with developers, product managers, and manual testers to define test scenarios. -
Maintain Test Framework:
Update and optimize the test suite as the application evolves.
WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript

Hands-on experience with Cypress for test automation

Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI

Knowledge of Git for version control

Experience with Docker, REST APIs, and tools like Postman is a plus
- Good English skills (B2 level or higher)
