ABOUT THE EMPLOYER

Our client is a US-based company operating in the logistics industry. They are developing an innovative Transportation Management Software designed to optimize operations across the entire freight network. We are a fast-growing technology company building modern, scalable solutions for our customers. Our teams operate in an Agile environment, emphasize transparency, and empower product owners to make high-impact decisions.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

  • Lead and actively participate in all Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives).

  • Create, refine, and maintain user stories with clear acceptance criteria.

  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure engineering always has clear and actionable tasks.

  • Work daily with front-end and back-end developers to clarify requirements, unblock issues, and ensure alignment.

  • Review the product increment before each release, validate functionality, and ensure quality.

  • Perform post-release evaluation to assess impact, identify issues, and plan improvements.

  • Communicate roadmap, priorities, and expectations to internal stakeholders.

  • Ensure the team follows the Scrum framework, Agile best practices, and product development lifecycle.

  • Work closely with design, QA, and engineering to deliver high-quality features on time.

  • Track sprint progress, manage scope changes, and ensure smooth release cycles.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • 1+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar product role.

  • Strong understanding of Agile & Scrum frameworks and hands-on experience running ceremonies.

  • Ability to write clear, concise user stories and acceptance criteria.

  • Experience working directly with engineering teams.

  • Knowledge of JIRA (workflows, boards, backlog management).

  • Understanding of front-end and back-end development concepts (not coding, but how systems work).

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical tasks.

  • Experience working in fast-paced product teams, preferably in a SaaS or tech environment.

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

ARE THERE ANY OTHER REQUIREMENTS?

  • Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA).

  • UX/UI understanding to provide structured feedback to design.

  • Prior experience in a startup or distributed engineering environment.

  • Product certification (PSPO, CSPO, etc.).
