WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our team and drive the development of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with engineering teams, writing epics and user stories, and leading agile ceremonies. As a Product Owner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality features that meet our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to define product requirements and prioritize the backlog.
  • Write detailed epics and user stories that clearly articulate the product vision and acceptance criteria.
  • Act as the Scrum Master, facilitating sprint ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Perform QA of features during the sprint to ensure they meet the defined acceptance criteria and maintain high standards of quality.
  • Continuously engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and refine product features.
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of sprints, ensuring transparency and communication across the team.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role.
  • Language: Strong proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Technical Collaboration: Demonstrated experience working closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality software products.
  • Agile Practices: Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working as a Scrum Master.
  • Product Management: Proficiency in writing clear and concise epics and user stories.
  • Quality Assurance: Experience in performing QA of features during development to ensure they meet acceptance criteria.
  • Leadership: Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to run effective sprint ceremonies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Scrum or Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Jira.
  • Experience in managing products through their entire lifecycle.
