ABOUT THE EMPLOYER
Apps Do Wonders is an innovative tech start-up focused on developing cutting-edge applications to enhance productivity and efficiency. We have developed two products – ChatGPT for Excel and ChatGPT for PowerPoint, both of which are in the top 10 Microsoft add-ins on the marketplace. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and ambitious SEO Assistant to support our SEO Manager in executing various search engine optimization tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who has a strong foundational understanding of web technologies and a passion for digital marketing. You’ll learn directly from an experienced SEO professional and gain hands-on experience in real-world projects.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

Assist with on-page SEO tasks including keyword research

Support link building efforts (e.g., researching backlink opportunities, submitting to directories, tracking guest post outreach).

Help coordinate with writers and review SEO-optimized content for accuracy and quality.

Assist in performing basic SEO audits using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Screaming Frog.

Monitor and update website SEO elements within CMS platforms WordPress (e.g., updating titles, meta descriptions, page content).

Research competitor SEO strategies and summarize findings for the SEO team.
WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Basic understanding of how websites work (e.g., HTML, CSS, domains, CMS platforms).

Strong interest in digital marketing and SEO.

Ability to conduct research, analyze data, and communicate insights clearly.

Experience with WordPress or other content management systems is

preferred.

Detail-oriented, organized, and willing to learn.
ARE THERE ANY OTHER REQUIREMENTS?

Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush is a plus.
