How do you vet candidates?

Every candidate is personally interviewed by a member of our team before being given access to our platform. We also evaluate their English communication skills and relevant technical expertise, ensuring you meet qualified, ready-to-contribute candidates. Of course, you’ll interview all candidates before making the hire.

Can we request specific skill sets or seniority levels?

Absolutely. We tailor candidate searches to your technical requirements and experience level needs.

How do you ensure strong English communication?

Candidates are tested on reading, writing, and conversational English. We prioritize clear communication to make remote collaboration seamless.

How do you maintain culture and connection for remote teams?

We understand how important team culture is, especially across borders. Our physical offices in regional hubs host at least two events per year that your team members are invited and encouraged to join. We work closely with your IT team to enforce your company’s security protocols, including remote access controls, device management tools like Jamf, and other internal policies. All talent is trained in data protection best practices, and we provide secure devices to ensure compliance and minimize risk.

Are hires compliant with local and international labor laws?

Yes. We handle all legal compliance, making it completely risk free for your company.

How do you protect our intellectual property?

Every employment contract between Truss and our employees includes an intellectual property (IP) clause to protect your company’s assets. This ensures that all work produced, including ideas, designs, and code, is owned by your organization and remains fully confidential while your team works with our talent.

Pricing & Engagement

What is Truss’s fee structure?

There are no upfront costs. You can review profiles for free and pay only once you interview a candidate you want to hire. We charge the salary at cost plus a transparent monthly Truss fee.

How quickly can you fill roles?

Typically within a few weeks, depending on the role’s requirements and seniority. Most of the time candidate profiles are sent for review in the first three days.

Operations & Management

Who handles payroll, benefits, and taxes?

Truss manages all administrative responsibilities so your team can focus on productivity.

What happens if a hire doesn’t work out?

We immediately present suitable replacement candidates for your consideration, minimizing disruption and ensuring continuity for your team. At the same time, our team steps in to advise on best practices for termination and handles all offboarding paperwork and final payouts.

Do you provide devices or equipment for remote talent?

Yes. We ensure all hires are equipped with secure, up-to-date devices.

Communication & Support

How do you handle time zone differences?

We strategize with each client ahead of time to determine the most suitable working hours for their team. During our vetting and screening process, we ensure that only candidates who agree to those hours are presented, ensuring smooth collaboration and minimal disruption.

Will we have a dedicated point of contact?

Yes. Every client receives a dedicated Truss manager to oversee onboarding, performance, and ongoing support.
