Here, you’ll work alongside passionate engineers designing and developing how our client’s customers view their home’s sustainable energy usage and generation.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

While this is a full-stack role, your primary focus will be crafting world-class Android and iOS experiences. You will be the architect of high-performance mobile interfaces that serve as the primary touchpoint for our customers, while simultaneously owning the AWS-based backend services that power them.

  • Mobile-First Development: Lead the end-to-end development of cross-platform iOS and Android applications using React Native, ensuring a native-level look, feel, and performance.

  • Premium UI/UX Implementation: Partner closely with designers to implement high-fidelity, interactive, and responsive user interfaces that simplify complex sustainable energy data.

  • Full-Stack Integration: Own the entire feature lifecycle, from building type-safe APIs in Node.js to optimizing how data is consumed on mobile devices.

  • Scalable Backend Architecture: Design and maintain serverless architectures using AWS Lambdas to aggregate data from complex CRM and data warehouse sources.

  • Mobile Performance & Quality: Champion mobile-specific best practices, including efficient state management, offline capabilities, and rigorous automated testing with Jest and Playwright.

  • Technical Leadership: Collaborate with Product and Tech Leadership to solve complex electrification challenges and mentor team members through deep-dive code reviews.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Core Mobile Expertise: 2+ years of experience in mobile application design with a mastery of React Native and a deep understanding of Android and iOS ecosystem constraints.

  • TypeScript Mastery: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience using JavaScript/TypeScript to build complex, enterprise-grade applications.

  • Backend & Cloud Proficiency: Proven experience building scalable multi-layered systems with Node.js and AWS (S3, Lambda, API Gateway).

  • Data Systems: Familiarity with modern data stores such as BigQuery, DynamoDB, Elastic, and Redis.

  • Modern Productivity: Proficiency with AI-assisted coding (Cursor, Copilot, or Claude Code) and JS build tools.

  • Native Awareness: Experience with (or willingness to dive into) Native iOS/Android modules to bridge functionality when React Native isn’t enough.
