Welcome to Truss!
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) explain the rules for using the Truss platform, AI tools, and website operated by Lincoln Labs, Inc. (“Truss,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By using Truss, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use our platform.

1. Who We Are

Truss is a platform operated by Lincoln Labs, Inc., a Delaware company headquartered at:

We provide technology that helps companies connect with global talent and, in some cases, employ them through our local Truss entities.

2. What These Terms Cover

These Terms apply to:

  • The Truss web platform for clients and candidates
  • Truss’s AI-based matching and screening tools
  • The marketing website at hiretruss.com

They govern your use of Truss as a client, candidate, employee accessing the platform, or visitor to our site.

3. Who Can Use Truss

You may use Truss only if you:

  • Are at least 18 years old,
  • Have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and
  • Agree to use Truss only for lawful, professional purposes.

4. Account Registration and Responsibilities

To use certain features, you need an account.

By creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information,
  • Keep your login credentials confidential,
  • Not share your account with anyone else, and
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account.

Truss may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if we suspect misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.

5. EOR Employees

If you’re employed by one of Truss’s local entities in Uzbekistan, Georgia, or Kazakhstan, your employment relationship is governed by your local employment agreement, not these Terms.
However, your use of the Truss platform (for example, to submit PTO or communicate with clients) is still covered by these Terms.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  1. Upload false, misleading, or deceptive information.
  2. Share unlawful, discriminatory, or offensive content.
  3. Access areas or data you’re not authorized to view.
  4. Copy, scrape, or reverse-engineer any part of Truss or its AI systems.
  5. Send spam, phishing, or other unsolicited messages.
  6. Bypass or interfere with platform security.
  7. Harass, defame, or harm others using the platform.
  8. Publicly post or index candidate profile links.
  9. Use Truss to build or improve a competing service.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination.

7. AI Tools and Automated Features

Truss uses AI algorithms to analyze candidate data and suggest matches or rankings.
AI results are advisory only — final hiring decisions rest solely with the client.

Clients are responsible for reviewing AI recommendations and ensuring compliance with hiring laws.
Truss may improve its AI systems using anonymized or aggregated data, but we do not explain individual AI outcomes.

8. Intellectual Property

  • The Truss platform, software, design, and content are owned by Lincoln Labs, Inc.
  • Any third-party AI models integrated into Truss remain the property of their respective owners.
  • Users retain ownership of the content they upload (e.g., resumes, job postings, messages), but grant Truss a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it for operating and improving the platform.
  • You may not copy, resell, or distribute any part of Truss without written permission.

9. Payments and Fees

Clients are billed outside the platform (e.g., via invoices).
No in-app purchases or subscriptions are processed through Truss.
Candidates do not pay any fees to use Truss.

10. Termination

Truss may suspend or terminate any account at any time and without prior notice if:

  • You violate these Terms or applicable law,
  • We detect misuse, fraud, or security concerns, or
  • It’s necessary to protect Truss, our clients, or users.

You may close your account anytime by contacting us at info@hiretruss.com.

Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.

11. Disclaimers

  • Truss provides its platform, website, and AI tools “as is” and “as available.”
  • We make no guarantees about accuracy, completeness, or reliability.
  • Truss is not responsible for hiring outcomes or decisions made by clients.
  • We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Your use of Truss is at your own risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Truss and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of opportunity, data, or profits).
  • Our total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount paid by you for Truss services, or $100 if no payment was made.

Some jurisdictions don’t allow such limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding its conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute will first be resolved through binding arbitration in Delaware, conducted confidentially in English.
If arbitration fails or cannot be enforced, the dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts of Delaware.

You agree to the jurisdiction of those courts.

14. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.
When we do, we’ll post the new version here with a revised “Last updated” date.
Your continued use of Truss means you accept the updated Terms.
